I was usually the last kid picked in gym...

...except for dodgeball, 'cuz I was lightning fast for a little girl comprised entirely of elbows, knees and forehead.  In fact, I was a dodgeball bada$s.  *laugh*

Now that I've piqued your interest with my random blurb (have I? Are you there, eating sherbet or writing some brilliant monologue with a fancy ink pen or font? Hello?), I'll let you in on the real reason for the post:

Daina Rustin, over at Mystic Treehouse passed this along to me. She's one of the fab writers I've met during the Platform Building Campaign. I'm thrilled to be "it;" I never lasted very long in gym class. With the exception of dodgeball. Oh yeah, and that little scuttle-on-your-butt-on-the-roley-platform game--I don't know if other schools had that game, because from what I remember it wasn't much of a game at all. Just really fun and accident-causing mayhem.

Back to the tag. I'm to list ten things about myself, and then pass to five of my new blogging buddies. Ready?

The List
1.) I like to drink Jello. Yup. I admit it; I'm a weirdo. But don't knock it till you try it; it's delicious. Nom nom nom. The trick is to put just enough extra water in to keep it from setting, but not so much you lose the flavor. Nom nom nom.


2.) I'm allergic to cats...but don't care. (lol. This can be slightly problematic)

3.) I'm a water rat, but I rarely get time to swim.

4.) I'm currently growing my hair to to half my body length. I think I might have brainwashed myself with all the flowing locks Tennyson went on about in his poems. Only seven years to go, approximately!

5.) Scorpions scare the bejesus out of me. By the way, to those of you who live in/frequent areas prone to scorpions, watch out for the restaurants. You'd be surprised how many places those crafty, creepy little suckers will infest, and a restaurant pantry is literally a smorgasbord for them. This I know for a fact, yes. Those freakish things like the undersides of booths, too. This I also know for a fact. *shudder*

6.) I don't like to play video games. Tetris is alright, with the right people and the right mojo, but that's about it. Much rather read a book.

7.) I love Friends. Actually, an episode is playing right now; it's the one with the car bed.

8.) I don't have a favorite flower, or a favorite color, or a favorite day of the week, or anything like that.

9.) I turn into a pumpkin from 2-8 p.m., approximately. No idea why, but the afternoon and early evening period is a real drag for me.

10.) I walk on my tippie toes, so it's quite difficult for me to wear tennis shoes, and usually don't. Heels or barefoot, baby!
