One word: Dracula.
...Dracula...by Bram Stoker.
That's all I've got to say. It requires no more introduction.
"Somewhere high overhead, probably on the tower, I heard the voice of the Count calling in his harsh, metallic whisper. His call seemed to be answered from far and wide by the howling of wolves."
Oooo-eee--oooooouuuuu........read if you dare! (It's really good.)
I have been following your blog, can you tell me what is a Tuesday teaser?
ReplyDeleteHi Deep!--I've been following your's too.
ReplyDeleteTuesday Teasers (or rather, Teaser Tuesday's) were started by MizB over at www.shouldbereading.wordpress.com.
Every Tuesday, I post just two random sentences (or since I'm often reading poetry, two stanzas) of what I'm reading that week, and include the author and title of the work.
I'm an awful bookworm, so I jumped on the bandwagon right away.
That way people can swing by, read just a couple of lines, and decide if they want to read that book or not.
